Maintaining a ready and resilient community-based force means the Indiana National Guard must provide a range of services specifically for our soldiers and airmen so they can navigate the many aspects of their Guard service, from obtaining their first ID card to transitioning back to civilian life after deployment.

DA Photo
The Indiana National Guard’s Visual Information office provides official photo services for Guardsmen at Stout Field, Camp Atterbury and other locations. More



Equal Opportunity Office
The Indiana National Guard’s Equal Opportunity Office helps to ensure combat readiness by fostering an environment of diversity, respect, growth and human dignity through compliance with federal law and applicable military regulations, providing equal opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment. More



The Indiana National Guard’s ID Card offices at Stout Field and Camp Atterbury issue identification cards and maintain information in the DEERS* system for all service members, dependents, retirees, civilian and contract employees. More

Education Services
The Indiana National Guard’s Education Services office helps Guardsmen achieve their educational goals and secure a better future by providing comprehensive resources and information, including federal and state tuition assistance, the GI Bill, education counseling and testing. More





Indiana National Guard Relief Fund
The Indiana National Guard Relief Fund, Inc. is a private, nonprofit, tax exempt corporation that helps Indiana soldiers and airmen, and their families, meet the challenges that come with extended periods of separation during military deployments. More







Military Funeral Honors
Military funeral honors are provided by the Indiana Army National Guard in the State of Indiana, under the direction of the U.S. Department of Defense, at no cost to the family. The rendering of military funeral honors is one of the ways to show the nation’s deep gratitude to those who, in times of war and peace, have faithfully defended our country. More





Office of the Inspector General
The Indiana National Guard’s Office of the Inspector General provides assistance to commanders, soldiers, airmen, civilians, family members and retirees through inspection, inquiry and investigation to enhance discipline, efficiency, economy, morale, training and readiness throughout the organization. More






Office of the Staff Judge Advocate
The Indiana National Guard’s Judge Office of the Staff Judge Advocate serves as the legal adviser to the command on a wide range of issues. OSJA also provides trial defense and free legal assistance services to Indiana Guardsmen. More





Office of the State Surgeon
The Indiana Army National Guard’s Office of the State Surgeon develops, synchronizes and executes medical readiness management policies and procedures to support comprehensive health, maximize personnel readiness and provide enduring rapidly deployable forces for community, state and global missions. More





Statewide Distributed Learning Classrooms
The Indiana National Guard’s distributed learning classrooms, located across Indiana, are used by members of the armed forces and Department of Defense (DOD) civilians for individual and collective training, professional development and command and control meetings. More



Transition Assistance Advisor Program
The Indiana National Guard’s Transition Assistance Advisor Program coordinates with TRICARE, Veteran Service Organizations and other federal, state and community resources to help service members who are transitioning from active duty, including those who are wounded, ill, injured, medically separating, ending their time in service or retiring. More






Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program
The Indiana National Guard’s Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program is a legislatively mandated, comprehensive program that provides a continuum of support to service members and their families throughout all phases of the deployment cycle to help reduce stressors and challenges created by deployment. More
