The readiness of Indiana National Guardsmen is in part dependent on the well-being of their families. We provide a continuum of services that connect both Guardsmen and their family members with resources that promote mental and physical fitness, well-being, resilience, financial management and education. Our family programs are the gateway to these resources.
Soldier and Family Readiness Center The Indiana National Guard’s Soldier and Family Center provides support to soldiers and military families for a full range of situations and problems that may arise in conjunction with military deployments or in the course of the member’s service. Strong Bonds The Indiana Army National Guard’s Strong Bonds program helps soldiers and their families build, strengthen, preserve and restore strong relationships by teaching skills that are useful in the military and in life. More
Survivor Outreach Services The Indiana National Guard’s Survivor Outreach Services Program is a holistic, multi-agency approach to delivering services to survivors of fallen service members by providing these services at garrisons and communities closest to where survivor families live. More
Youth Program The Indiana National Guard’s Child and Youth Program supports children, youth and families of Guardsmen by providing enrichment activities for youths aged 6-17. These activities can be especially helpful during times of deployment or extended separation. More
