Our key measure of success is meeting and exceeding customer needs and surpassing mutually established organizational goals.”
Services:
We assist leaders at all levels of the Unit/Organization with the following services:
- Full Time Staff (FTS) Educational and Professional Guidance.
- Individual Development Plans (IDP).
- Training opportunities through National Guard Bureau (NGB) Professional Education Center, government agencies, and civilian vendors (i.e., Covey, graduate school, university studies for career development, etc.).

Courses We Offer:
NEW EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION COURSE:
This one day course is attended by all new hires and provides the FTS with basic knowledge required to know what a full time soldier/airmen in the National Guard is; what the organization is; the relationship between FTS and M-day personnel; and provides tools to assist them in their first few months.
SUPERVISOR’S COURSE:
The Indiana National Guard Basic Supervisor’s course is a comprehensive course that provides in depth instruction on all aspects of supervisory responsibility of full time force personnel management. The teaching methods center on small group discussions led by a facilitators. The discussions use all members’ opinions and experiences to fully incorporate the learning experience. Most presentations are led by HRO Staff Specialists responsible for that area of presentation. This course is open to all ARNG Soldiers and ANG Airmen serving in the capacity of a supervisor.
RETIREMENT COUNSELOR’S COURSE:
The Retirement Counselors Course offers instruction on procedures needed to adequately advise soldiers within their organization who are entering into retirement. You will learn the Reserve Component Survivor Benefit Plan (RC-SBP), TRICARE for Life, Thrift Savings Plan AGR/Technician, Pay Entry Base Date (PEBD) computation, Retirement Points Accounting Management (RPAM).
