Personnel Force Innovation (PFI) is a DoD program that matches guard and reserve members with DoD agencies for tours of active duty from 1 to 3 years. Most of these tours are stateside, and guard and reserve members can apply for a specific tour from a list of over 150 open positions on the PFI website at http://pfi.dod.mil.

Military Employment Coordination Program Video

The recent Hoosier Hire-A-Vet job fair at Stout Field was a good place to catch up with Nick Arnett, an Employment Coordination Specialist for the Indiana National Guard. The program helps employers find quality employees in veterans and servicemembers soon leaving military life.
  

IMECP Program Overview

The Indiana Military Employment Coordination Program is a dynamic INNG agency working directly for the INNG HRO. We partner very closely with J9, TAP, EPI and ESGR to maximize all available tools and support mechanisms when helping our un/under employed Citizen Soldiers find legitimate careers in and around Indiana. We are resourced by the HRO office and dedicated to finding employers who are desperately seeking the professional expertise Guard/Reserve members bring to their ranks.
  

IMECP Mission Statement

IMECP increases career opportunities for Hoosier Guardsmen / Veterans / Reservists by developing proactive positive relationships with Hoosier employers and connecting our Citizen Soldiers with these employers through all available channels to achieve pre-recession employment ratios.
