3-19th ADT Mission and Intent

MISSION:  The 3-19th Agribusiness Development Team (ADT) assists in strengthening the connection of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) to the people of Khost and East Paktika provinces, by sustaining agricultural development, developing new agribusiness projects while fostering sustainable and legal economic growth.

INTENT:   3-19th Agribusiness Development Team will continue to develop population centric agricultural projects based on the analysis and needs of Khost and East Paktika Provinces. All efforts and activities will support GIRoA, ensuring a positive connection of the people to their Government. The 3-19th ADT will structure, educate, and train local, provincial, and national shareholders on new agribusiness methods; resulting in a more viable economic way of life and developing conditions for a seamless transition to the 4-19th ADT.

NEWS:

Find out about the work the 3-19th ADT is doing in Afghanistan by visiting the News Section above.

All 3-19th photo essays are still available through the general listing, but a new one is posted concerning the 3-19th ADT's work during the month of April.

The members of the 3-19th worked hard to learn all that is required of these specialty Agribusiness Development Teams as they deploy to Afghanistan. Through months of premobilization training, new skills and techniques have been learned that the unit will carry to the farmers and workers of Khost Province.

See what the 3-19th has accomplished in its outreach mission with the Afghan farmers:
